During the development of our high-performance ECU calibrations, we discovered a recurring issue on many 900 ACE Turbo models.
Under increased boost pressure, the factory two-piece air box can begin to separate at the sealing joint. Even a small amount of movement can create a boost leak, causing unstable intake pressure and inconsistent engine operation.
As the leak becomes more severe, the engine may experience significant power loss, poor performance, or even enter limp mode—potentially leaving you stranded far from home.
