Your suspension is one of the hardest-working systems on your snowmobile. It must keep the skis and track planted while absorbing constant impacts from rough trails, maintaining stability under acceleration, braking, cornering, and high-speed riding—all without sacrificing rider comfort.
Although the KYB Smart-Shox system is one of the most advanced OEM electronic suspensions available, it requires regular maintenance to continue performing at its best.
Inside every shock absorber, oil continuously circulates through precision internal components. Over time, normal wear generates microscopic particles that contaminate the oil and accelerate wear on pistons, shims, seals, and other critical components. Through our testing, we've observed a noticeable reduction in damping performance after approximately 3,000 km (1,900 miles) of trail riding.
Routine servicing helps maintain peak suspension performance, improves reliability, and reduces the risk of unexpected failures during the riding season. For riders who put significant mileage on their sled, we recommend servicing the suspension once per season.
Most Smart-Shox service orders are completed within 3 business days after arrival, minimizing your downtime and getting you back on the snow quickly.

Replacement components required due to wear or damage—including seals, O-rings, nitrogen seals, shafts requiring polishing, or other repair parts—are not included and will only be replaced after inspection with customer approval.
Shipping charges for the return shipment will be invoiced once your suspension service has been completed and is ready to ship back.
