The Precision EFI Stage 3R is our ultimate "best bang for the buck" package for riders looking to unlock maximum performance from the stock turbo. While originally developed with drag racing in mind, the Stage 3R delivers outstanding trail manners and exceptional low-end torque, making it just as enjoyable for aggressive trail riding as it is for the strip.
The result is instant throttle response, massive mid-range pull, and relentless top-end power—all while retaining the reliability Precision EFI is known for.
Unlike many high-performance calibrations, the Stage 3R is designed to maintain excellent cruising efficiency. During normal trail riding, you can expect better fuel economy than the factory calibration, thanks to optimized fuel and ignition mapping. The OEM tune is intentionally conservative, while our calibration extracts more usable power with greater efficiency.
Every Precision EFI reflash includes our exclusive Knock Protection System, continuously monitoring for detonation to maximize engine safety without sacrificing performance.

Clutch Calibration Required
This power package requires adjustable primary clutch weights to achieve the advertised performance.
The following settings are intended as a starting point for sleds equipped with a stock primary spring and helix in good condition. Changes to spring rate, helix profile, gearing, altitude, rider weight, and snow conditions will affect the final clutch calibration.
Target Engine Speed
- Target RPM: 9,000 RPM
- Performance spring and helix kit strongly recommended
Recommended Starting Point
- Dalton DTYA1 Adjustable Ramp Kit (74.5 g)
- Adjust to a total weight of 78.5 g
- Apply Purple Loctite to all weight screws.
- For most applications, the adjustment screw should be positioned with the head flush with the top of the heel pocket.
Fine-Tuning Procedure
Perform a full-throttle acceleration while applying power progressively to minimize track spin. Once engine RPM stabilizes, record the maximum RPM.
- RPM above 9,000: Add clutch weight.
- RPM below 9,000: Remove clutch weight.
Keep in mind that snow conditions, track traction, temperature, and elevation all influence clutch performance and may require slight adjustments to consistently achieve the target RPM.
