Developed through nearly two years of engineering by BRP and Bosch, it incorporates advanced technologies that are simply not available in aftermarket standalone ECUs.
Instead of replacing this sophisticated controller, Precision EFI recalibrates your original ECU while preserving every factory protection strategy.

Clutch Calibration
To achieve the full performance potential of Stage 1R, an adjustable clutch ramp kit is required.
For a stock spring and helix combination in good condition, use the following starting point:
- Target RPM: 8,100–8,200 RPM
- Precision EFI Adjustable Ramps: SKI-900R-CLUTCH-RAMP-77G
- Starting Weight: 80.5 g total
- Apply Blue or Purple Loctite to the adjustment screws.
- A screw head sitting flush with the top of the hole (heel position) is the most common starting point.
Fine-Tuning
Perform a full-throttle acceleration while progressively applying the throttle to minimize track spin. Once engine RPM stabilizes:
- If RPM is above 8,200, add weight.
- If RPM is below 8,100, remove weight.
Snow conditions, temperature, elevation, and track traction will all influence clutch RPM, so minor adjustments may be required.

- Bosch MG1 ECU Unlock Service is included and backed by our Lifetime ECU Warranty.
- An adjustable clutch ramp kit is required to achieve the recommended operating RPM of 8,100–8,200 RPM.
- For optimum throttle response, compressor protection, and turbo performance, we strongly recommend installing the Precision EFI Blow-Off Valve.
