Producing 190 HP on premium 91-octane pump fuel, Stage 1R delivers a 40 HP gain over stock, transforming the 900 ACE Turbo into a remarkably faster, more responsive machine while maintaining OEM-level reliability.
To safely achieve this performance increase, Precision EFI developed new hardware specifically for this package. Rather than pushing the factory components beyond their intended limits, Stage 1R combines our proven ECU calibration with our renowned Precision EFI Stainless Steel High-Flow Downpipe, resulting in lower exhaust backpressure, reduced underhood temperatures, and improved turbocharger efficiency.

Clutch Calibration
To achieve the full performance potential of Stage 1R, the Precision EFI Adjustable Clutch Ramp Kit is required.
Recommended Starting Setup
- Target RPM: 8,000–8,100 RPM
- Precision EFI Adjustable Ramp Kit: SKI-900R-CLUTCH-RAMP-69G
- Starting Weight: 72.6 g total
- Apply Blue or Purple Loctite to all adjustment screws.
- As a starting point, position the adjustment screws so the heads sit flush with the top of the ramp (heel position).
Fine-Tuning
Perform a full-throttle acceleration while progressively applying the throttle to minimize track spin.
Once engine RPM stabilizes:
- If RPM exceeds 8,100, add weight.
- If RPM is below 8,000, remove weight.
Snow conditions, elevation, temperature, and track traction all influence clutch RPM, so minor adjustments may be required for optimum performance.
