Especially the KYB Smart-Shox which requires more frequent maintenance than a conventional shock. Because the ECU which constantly changes the hydraulic settings, to adapt to different conditions and riding styles, heats the oil much more. The result after 3000 km; you get a fluidized oil full of wear particles which directly affects their performance. So, the shocks bounce at the slightest bump and sometimes it bottoms out, reducing control and comfort.
