Precision EFI 998T Turbo Upgrade


The Precision EFI  Stage 5 is the world's highest-performing kit designed for trail riding. It delivers phenomenal torque and instant throttle response with no turbo lag. Ultra-efficient and so fast that it makes you feel invincible. 


Imagine what it feels like to have 350 horsepower running on 91-octane fuel. 

 Plus, thanks to the integrated Multimap on the dashboard, you can also select the economy Map, designed for long rides. This map provides a good fuel economy and significantly more power and torque than the stock map. 


The Stage 5 turbo upgrade unit is bolt on in the same location using the original hardware, without any modifications. 


-Available performance levels: 

Attention requires the installation of high-strength head studs for all levels included in this Stage 5

Economy 18 PSI = 300 hp with pump gas

Stage 1: 20 PSI = 325 hp with pump gas 

Stage 2: 22 PSI = 350 hp with pump gas 

Stage 3 24 psi = 375 hp need C16 race gas***

Stage 4 26 psi =  400 hp need C16 race gas***

Full race = Ineffective, do not select this mode.

***Attention requires internal modifications to valve train, pistons, and connecting rods. 


-From a OEM snowmobile the package includes : 

Turbo upgrade* (You must return your original turbo core and metal oil pipe)

Stage 5 multimap flash 

Optimized aluminum intake tube 

Upgraded wastegate and boost solenoid 

Upgraded injectors 

Complete Stage 4 kit

 

To upgrade from a Stage lower than 4, contact us you will pay only the difference.

Please take note that this power package requires the addition of some adjustable ramps in the primary clutch


Ramp adjustment starting point

For a stock spring and helix combination in good condition, to achieve the target RPM. Please note; a modified spring and helix combination affects the final result. Therefore, we cannot provide settings for every application.

The test should be performed as follows: accelerate quickly but gradually to avoid track slippage. While accelerating, wait for the RPM to stabilize, then take an RPM reading. If the RPM is too high, add weight; if too low, reduce the weight. 
Note that surface conditions vary and affect RPM.

- Target RPM: 9100-9300
Arctic Cat
- Team Clutch : Dalton Qa2-76 set to total of 80 g (use purple Loctite)
-Adapt Clutch : Dalton Qa3-65 set to a total of 69 g (use purple loctite)
Yamaha : Springs and helix kit strongly suggested
-Dalton DTYA1 (74.5g) set to a total of 79.5g (use purple loctite)
- A screw head flush with the top of the hole (at the heel) is the most common setting.
