Unlike universal drain valves or aftermarket fittings, the PEFI system retains the factory oil hose, OEM clamp, and original heat shield. These components were specifically engineered by the manufacturer to withstand the high temperatures and oil pressure of the lubrication system, so there is no reason to replace them.

For that reason, the PEFI Easy Oil Change System incorporates two independent sealing methods:
