Installation Note
The brass bushing included in the tensioner packaging is not used with this retrofit kit.
Chain Tension Adjustment
- Tighten the adjustment screw by hand until it bottoms out against the tensioner.
- Loosen the adjustment screw one full turn.
- Hold the adjustment screw in position and tighten the jam nut to lock the setting.
This simple adjustment procedure ensures proper chain tension while preventing excessive preload for maximum chain and bearing life.
